Intel wanted to provide free egress from the service yard while maintaining a high level of security. The company was also looking to improve the user experience as some employees complained that certain turnstiles were harder to push than others and that recoil from the turnstile arms was sometimes a problem. After reviewing the system requirements and discussing traffic flow patterns with Intel, Alvarado proposed retrofitting the existing turnstiles with Alvarado’s new HydraLine™ Speed Control technology.
